Bishop John Fleming

On the 7th April 2002 a new Bishop of Killala was ordained in St Muredech's Cathedral Ballina. Bishop John Fleming also became the new Chancellor of the Newman Institute of Education, Ballina, Ireland, to follow the excellent work of his predecessor Bishop Thomas Finnegan.

Coming from his post as head of the Irish College in Rome Bishop John is excellently placed to guide the Newman Institute of Education into the next phase of development.
